I see some decimal numbers before the listing of snakes, and in the case of one of the forum members, other animals. Would someone be so kind as to explain their meaning?

Example (from Steveo):
0.1 Puget Sound, 1.2 red Plains, 1.1 Easterns (from ery/flame x mel or snow) 0.1 desert/cali King, 1.1 Sinaloan milks 0.1 cat, 0.1 dog 0.1 human

Ok, The best I could come up with was that it's a code for sex. This one gives me pause: 1.1.5 T.s.sirtalis, although I think maybe that third digit is "baby/I don't know"
Like 1 female, 1 male, 5 babies.

Exactly ;-)

1.1.5 means 1 male , 1 female and 5 unknown :)

Male, female, unknown. Always in that order.
1.2.3: 1 male, 2 females and 3 unknown.
1.2: 1 male, 2 females, 0 unknown.

Males and females are always denoted, regardless of how many there are. It's optional to mention nonexistent unknowns.
1.0: one male, 0 females, 0 unknown.
0.2: 0 males, 2 females, 0 unknown.
0.0.3: 0 males, 0 females, 3 unknown.

Are you sure it wasn't for nothing? The way I see it, you spent that money so you could work hard to graduate, so you could get a better job, so you could work hard for the rest of your life, to make more money to save up and spend on your own kids' educations, so they could work hard for the rest of their lives, to make money.... and so on LoL

Besides, all that money spent and they still didn't teach you what these numbers mean. Anyone who is intelligent and literate could have came to the same conclusion you did. That's intelligence and it has nothing to do with whether you're educated or not. Figuring that out only required intelligence and literacy. A 3rd grade education is all that was needed. :p
