yesterday, a friend helped me to move three tanks, accessories and inhabitants to the new place
I was going to show him my new garters and they were gone!
it turned out that one of the cage clips hadn't been put on right
anyway - I was a bit upset
I mean, I just got these guys and I'd been way more worried about loosing the ringneck, 'cause it's so tiny
so we went looking, and what happened was kinda funny
I hear Mark in another part of the house, saying "no, this one's fake" and then I hear him doing some kind of exclamation, not quite eeek - it wasn't fake after all . . .
we found them - they were headed for the garden
Mark thought they were so beautiful, they couldn't be real

no, they aren't
but I don't freak out as much as I used to (not that it happens often)
so far every snake I lost has turned up again
although this was the first time I've ever found them by looking for them
I guess that sort of thing is much easier in a house with no stuff in it

thats good to hear that youg ot your garters back!! =) i have to agree it is really stressful when you lose a snake, and i don't know if any one else has noticed this that has lost a snake but, when you go looking for them you never find em but when your least expecting it. =) but its still really great that you found your snakes, i just recently had an escape but got him back!! hope you have good luck movin still =0
