Ok so I caught my female eastern garter snake a week and a half ago and put her in a new cage last weekend. She looks like she is gravid and she has scale spread. She is about a foot and a half almost two feet and It seems like she is getting a little bit bigger each day. She didn't eat for a week in a half but today she ate two fish. And when she runs through my fingers I can feel bumps sometimes. She is thin by the head and gets big going downward then buy the vent the largeness stops and its the tail. Thanks and please help! :D

Could you post a couple pictures from different angles?
Also, is she housed by herself? If so, that's okay. If not, since you don't know when she is due, go ahead and separate her. Probably only handle her when necessary too. Any stress should be avoided.
Finally, make sure you provide a moist hide (plastic container with wet paper towels in it or something) that the babies can go into to help them get their first shed off. They shed shortly after birth, and the shed box helps with that.

What are you needing help with?
The care sheet here has a nice little bit on breeding and birthing. It's always a good read.

Ok, can you get a closer picture of her? Showing scale spread etc.
She might be gravid but may be pretty young n small yet so it could be hard to see. It might be a small litter and likely her first based on the size you say she is. If you feel bumps as she goes threw your fingers, she probably is...

She(?) doesn't look gravid(showing) in the photo. I pretty certain it's a female but need to get a straight on look at the underside of the tail.
This thread will show you the kind of photos we need.

From the photo you posted I would have to say male. That tail stays wide for at least a 7 scale count.
If possible post another photo that is well focused, closer and straight on to the tail/vent area. Thanks.

That looks like a male to me too which makes me concerned about bumps you are feeling. If you could get some better pics...close ups from different angles, we can determine for certain if it is male and try to see any bumps you may be feeling.

Bumps could just be organs.

No matter where the sun is, "belly up" is not a normal position.
