Thinking about getting the girls a new home for when quarantine is over...

I was looking at a 75 gallon....

Some of them seem to have like mineral deposits or like calcium build up on the inside glass from being used as an aquarium.

Can this be cleaned off to make the glass appear almost perfectly clear again? If so how and what would need to be done?

I'm very interested in quite a few tanks I've seen I could turn into a sweet place for them, but most have this "Foggy" glass.

Thanks in advance

I've tried chemicals to remove the deposits but always have to get out a razor blade to do the job properly.

you can go to either an auto parts or hardware store and buy the scapers marketed mainly as sticker removers they are easier to handle than just a plain razor blade and most scrapers come with a razor

Nice... I'll probably just end up buying this tank if its not too badly clouded... Its a 75 gallon for $80! I almost had one yesterday for 40 but someone beat me to it >_<

Vinegar and a putty knife work wonders on hard deposits! I've 'brought back to life' many tanks that were horrific looking!
The only bad thing... I always ended up craving salt n vinegar chips whilst cleaning...
