I remember awhile back there was a conversation over good or trustable brands of silversides. The brand I normally use is Molly's silversides, which I feel comfortable with. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the Hikari silversides? I have a couple packs that I got from someone else, and I'd like to be able to use them, but they are mainly for my very old guy so I wanted to ask before I used them. The pack recommends them for 'most carnivores' including several freshwater fish, so I'd think the salt content isn't high in them...

You sure these aren't the ones your talking about? I think these are the ones a few members are using.

Yeah, the ones I normally use are Sally's. I'm going out to get some more of those tomorrow, but it'd be nice to be able to use the Hikari ones as well. I just don't trust fish I haven't heard reviews from, especially for Houdini since he's old enough to be more sensitive to anything bad.

Nothing wrong with being cautious.
