Check out this gorgeous female radix I'm raising up.
Smoking orange dorsal and great defined spots. On top of that she is the green phase which is my favorite color phase.
This is going to be a stunning adult in a couple years. She's from my backyard.

Wow... High 'contrast' is right! I'm thinking my blues and reds could use a green buddy one day!

That photo was without a flash but still it didn't capture the green that runs throughout her body.
I would have to say this is the most beautiful wild radix I've ever seen. Just running around my backyard ta-boot. Amazing.

You just have to remind us Brits that we might have the odd tetra here and there, and a few beautiful garters... But we can't find them outside in our back garden.

What's funny is the fact she was opaque when I found her, I took her in to get a look at the post -shed. When I saw a shed in her tub and looked under the hide.
To my surprise was this gorgeous snake. I'm sure glad I brought her in for a look-see.
She has adapted to Ranch life rather quickly. I've got a male with a killer orange dorsal that she will be paired with someday.

Wow that thing looks bright, it almost looks like a pastel checkered.

That pattern looks sweet, I don't think that picture does justice though for how that snake must look in person!

Eyes are dark but seem normal in color. Why do you ask?
