I'll be getting my 1.1 baby Pugets in a couple of weeks, so I'll be "picking your brains", Kevin!:)

Ill get some more pix of them either today or tomarrow, all the ones from the first litter are eating like pigs and I only have 2 stubborn ones out of the secong litter, but they'll come around.

Kevin, this will be my first time with Pugets. Do the babies feed readily? Any special tricks required or do they just "go for it"?

the ones that have given me problems have eaten at the second offering of food, they usually go for it readily though (as soon as it hits them "oh this is food") I offer rosie reds on tongs and I have a bit better/quicker reaction if I hold the fish down on the ground as opposed to the way i feed the adults (they see tongs and come flying to me and will take the prey anywhere at any position)

I dont know if I posted this here before (though I'm sure I have)
but this is the very first meal to one of the little ones from the first litter,
you can see right when it realizes the fish is food

OK, I was gonna put these pix with my ad but it appears once it's up you cant edit it, oh well here they are, there are 2 distinct pattern with these pugets from all the animals I have seen so I will show both here

the first would be what I call the striped

then the second (and the one I like more) is
what I call the "dotteds"
