My friend caught this snake in central Illinois. It looks exactly like parietalis but it was found way outside their range. Easterns from central and southern illinois are known to have red like this one so this is a common variety we just dont see them in the hobby. Shes gravid to boot, cant wait to see the babies.

red like this one so this is a common variety we just dont see them in the hobby.

We probably do, but if the idiot sells it as "red sided" we have no reason to doubt it by looking at it. :rolleyes: This is why I think there's more hybrids out there than we even know. We might even make them unknowingly.
