I've noticed on quite a few of the pinkies (frozen) that I cut up, that they have a large (compared to their body size) white organ of some sort inside of them. Is this normal/healthy/ok? I haven't noticed it on every single one, but I can't say that the pinkies are cut up in the exact same way every time, so maybe I missed it sometimes. I'm just hoping this doesn't mean they were sick or unhealthy, and if it's bad for my snakes to eat them.

It is mother's milk. Not any kind of problem.

Yeah I realized pretty quick what it was. Kind of sad, their last little meal that got a chance to be digested. I try not to think of the mama rat when I see that.

I thought the same, although thinking about it that would make some of the "spleens" fairly large.
