A not to often kept species. This is my green striped girl, she was bred to the red male. Anybody else out there keeping this species??

Yup, guessing my girl is gravid as well.... Spawn of satan as someone said......!!!

Even the '11 holdbacks are the devil themselves!

Is their attitude really as bad as everyone says? I love these! And they would be a good pairing for our hot texas weather, but I am fond of the sweeter snakes :)

Yup...it was me and they are pure evil. They have that look in their blood red eyes that says 'I'm going to get you. Next time you dare enter my viv to change the water you're mine.'

Mine have never tried to bite, but don't like to be held or messed with! They are real neat snakes!

In fairness the female isn't too bad - just skittish. The male however is a different story and he launches himself around the tank attempting to get me every time I go in. It keeps you on your toes but it is fun.

I know I'll take some hate for this, but I've always found them kind of ugly. That being said, I've never seen them in person.

I think I'll get a pair this year and try them out.

dude, that is awesome. These are way cooler than all the morphs and stuff! That's quite the contradictory statement considering it is a highly polymorphic species and the two snake pictured aren't even the same morph.

Keep us posted Joe
They are both cool. I really like the red one though.

Awesome man! I miss mine at times... Would never know they were in the tank until you threw fish in the bowl, then all hell broke loose for about 20 minutes.
