Woke up this AM to a nice brood of lucies and 66% hets. Cool thing with the leucistics is a flame was bred to the original paradox leucistic female and the
flame trait has leached into the leucism, creating varying shades of orange coloration. Will get pics up as soon as I can.

PS Picture is of a high orange male that was later sold

Thanks everyone, the het ended up having 10 leucistics and 18 66 hets (normals and flames), 1 still born lucy and 1 mildly deformed 66 het, these are nice ratios for a het to het cross.

Just had another brood of babies yesterday, nine 66% het leucistics (flames and normals) and 2 leucistics (one lucy passed away last night) and numerous stillborns.

Good job with all the possible hets this year! I am so glad this gene now has a real chance of being a staple! I will keep you posted on the Pied.

Does anyone know the origin of the leucistic garter snakes?

price list says "from paradox(eastern) bloodline" but I'm not sure if that answers your question.
