Pythons are already illegal in NY. No one listens to that law though, big commercial pets stores even sell ball pythons and so do Reptile Expos. If that law is passed, it will probably last for about 6 months. My friend told me that he got a fine for walking around with his burmese because they are illegal.

What would define "causing bodily harm" in this rediculous legislation?
My garters could inflict a bite that would draw blood, but I'm far more likely to suffer a more significant injury from the cat.
