Where can I buy garter snakes in Ontario? (preferably in the Brampton area)

I am looking to buy a baby garter snake in Ontario. I am willing to drive a bit, but not too far. Can any of you recommend any places I can go to buy one? Thanks a bunch!:)

Honestly your best bet would be to ask someone in Canada to ship them to you. What type of garter snake are you looking to get? Make sure you do your research before getting one. I cannot stress how important research is.

You can pretty much only find Checkered Garters in the GTA. At least that's all I've found (other than a few people selling wild-caught Easterns). There were a few ads on Kijiji over the summer. Also, a few reptile shops have them. I purchased my checkered from All Reptiles in Scarborough for $59 I think. They had one normal and one albino at the time. I bought my albino from a guy in Barrie. Hope that helps. :)

EDIT:

I found one of the older ads (from Dec 1). This guy is located in St. Catherines and he got back to my e-mail pretty quickly back when I messaged him. Don't know if he has anymore though.
