Very nice snakes!
Those canescens look more like Nerodia or Liophis than Thamnophis. What are they like in the way of temperment and diet?

I like how you just pick them up in the middle of their little snakescapades and they're all like... doesn't matter! Still doin' it!

hello MARWOLAETH canescens are a very small species. They start out very shy but lose their fear as they become adults. They are fish specialists, they can be switch to a rodent diet but they dont eat them well, they never seem to get it right. You give them a fish and its a different story. They also feed very aggressively and i have to feed them individualy. I keep them in groups.
They are very different then other Thamnophis species but thats what i like about them, theyre unique.
