So i have some july babies who simply wont eat. My house is very difficult to keep warm, and i cant seem to keep the bins warm enough for these scrubs to want to eat, but they continue to be quite active. Ive heard brumating is a good choice, but i dont want to risk killing them all, especially considering they are still quite small. They are Eastern Garters, and have been fed on scented pinky parts and worms, mostly pinkies when i can get them to take them! Can someone give me a baby brumation for dummies summery! Thank you!

Sorry to hear you are having troubles getting your scrubs to eat. Here is a link to a thread that talks about putting babies through a mini-brumation to get them back to eating http://http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/breeding/10804-update-young-san-francisco-garter-snakes.html (http://www.thamnophis.com/forum/breeding/10804-update-young-san-francisco-garter-snakes.html).

I've done that a few times. It works.
