LOL, I guess Mamas is staying with us for a while, so I am giving her a name. Her name is Pleiades since I found her the day before I left to watch the solar eclipse back in May. The Pleiades was also in alignment with the eclipse, and at the time she was carrying 7 babies. Still waiting for two of Spica's siblings to be born...

From the pregnancy info I've gathered around the board Gravid females typically shed a few days before they give birth. Her eyes went from blue to clear again, so she will shed within a couple days. Her "bump" has also moved from mid abdomen to about 1cm from her cloaca. I'm not too hopeful for live babies since they have been in utero a month an a half longer than Spica, but fingers are still crossed. Any tips in case the newborns are struggling with life when they do arrive? I want to be prepared this time.

=( Eh, I meant if they seemed like they were not going to make it, but still had some life in them. They were born today while I was at work. Came home to two still borns and a big snake poop. Totally bummed.

Im very sorry for your loss. That's one of the unfortunate realities of breeding.
