First attachment is another of Beauty, the second one is Lacy, and the third one is Sammi...
7031 This is another of Lacy. I don't know why it is doing some attachments and some inserted, but here they are.

7037 Turq likes to tie me up :)
7038 Turq missed the memo that the frog was food not a friend
7039 Turq and Sage are inseparable

Good looking snakes.
Keep in mind that frogs as a rule carry a parasite load.

Yeah, they are not a normal food. It was caught where they were found and I was hoping that Sage would eat, but he was about the same as Turq. The frog was set free shortly there after. Thanks :)

I will try, she is rather protective and wiggly, not to mention fast. :) She is the only one that has not eaten yet of the babies, well, I mean, she ate the worm piece that got gagged up but is still afraid to try again even though she really wants to. She goes over and looks at it and tastes it but won't take the chance. I don't blame her, it is scary to choke.

Have you tried cutting the worms up? It'll be less intimidating if they are in smaller bits and also easier to swallow and digest.

Yeah, it was cut up. There was a piece that was a bit bigger though and she went for that one. I think if it were dead she would have been fine. I was so excited that she was eating I took this picture. It seemed much smaller in the bowl than in her mouth.

7042 Sammi ate both worm and tilapia pieces, I was so excited, I had to share.

Then there is Lacy who ate like 6 pieces of both worm and tilapia. She was stuffed! I love how her markings show when she is stuffed. :) I hope she has her markings look like that all the time when she gets bigger, that would be awesome. :D

Thanks! :D

How often should I feed these babies? Do they need it every other day, or 3rd day, more, less...? I thought I decided I was not ready for babies... so much for that plan. ;)

Imo, I think feeding them every 2-3 days will suffice.

It seemed much smaller in the bowl than in her mouth. :eek:For my 2011 guys, I cut the worms into 6 or 8 pieces. Then, I take one of those and cut it into 4 or 5 pieces fot the 2012 guy! I try to give Hodgins pieces that are no bigger than his head.

Every dag, or every other day. Little pieces, no bigger them his head, until they've got a noticeable but not overly large bulge.

Thanks, I cut it into about ten pieces I think that time... The other 2 had no problem, but Beauty is just so tiny. This last time I cut it into 12 pieces, she still didn't try it, Lacy didn't eat yesterday either, but Sammi ate 6. I will cut it even smaller today. Idk when they were born. I have never seen a new born puget before so it's hard to say. Plus with them being w/c they may not have grown as fast either. Any idea how old they might be?

Judging from the size, I would say no more than a month or two. They are so pretty, I hope Beauty eats for you soon.

Lacy died. :( Not sure what happened. I found her under the water dish. She was coiled up biting herself. She ate on Tuesday and I was so excited cuz she hadn't eaten for over 2 weeks. I'm so sad to see her go. I was looking forward to seeing how she changed as she grew up. RIP my friend. I'm sorry I couldn't do more for you.

How can I clean the tank out best? I sprayed it down with vinegar water a few times but it still smells odd. I don't want to use anything toxic to Sammi... Thanks

Sorry to hear that she died, always sad when we loose little ones but some of the time its just not meant to be, and they die!

For cleaning, I use hot water with a teaspoon of vinegar in and then let it dry out in the sun, always does the trick when I have a bad smell in a cage for some reason!

Did you end up keeping Sammi?

Yes, I have Sammi. Beauty was not eating for me so I set her free with Turq and Sam hoping it was not too late for her to find her own food. Now Lacy is gone, so Sammi is all alone. I put her back in the starter tub for the night and soaked the tank in vinegar water over the night. I plan to set up the tank again this morning for her. I want a lil friend for her, but won't be able to get it for a few weeks plus quarantine so I'm hoping to not have her get too stressed alone.

I see now. I was thinking Sam and Sammi were the same snake:o

Still very sorry to hear about little Lacey. I'm glad you've got you're three remaining girls.

Thank you... Yes, I set them free about 3 weeks ago, I didn't want it to get too cold to have them get settled in somewhere before winter.

I just wish I knew what happened to Lacy. She seemed fine, ate and then died. From what I've read, it is common to never know why, but it is still hard. She was so pretty. I'm glad I have my other girls to focus on now. :)
