He should continue to color up. Should be an awesome red when it's all done. Glad they all arrived safely. He is the son of Nova(female) and Cherry-on-top(male).

Not at this time. I've got some babies that are coloring up but I want to wait and see where it goes.

Thanks, lemme know, I'd be interested in trying one. I'm glad you are caring for them for awhile, I'd like one maybe 4 to 6 months old, that way I have a better shot at having one that will eat and thrive for me. That would build my confidence a lil, I think. Itty bitties make me real nervous. ;) They sound lucky to be in your care. :D

It was great to come see you and meet your new lil friends. Great group you have there. I still think John is my favorite of your new ones, but they are all very pretty. Thanks for everything! :)

He is lovely! He looks like a smaller version of my Sammy...the red radix male I got from Steve last Spring. I'll have to put some pics of him up on my thread. I've been thinking about maybe breeding Sammy and Sadie (a regular colored radix I got from Steve). I will discuss it with Steve. Congrats on your new addition, Kat! Radixes are sweeties. Steve's radixes are extra special!

He shed this evening. Here is a quick upload from my phone. Don't worry that is not their drinking water. This is the "mud". It's dirt from an empty worm container mixed with reptical and filtered water. They had so much fun in it!

Yeah he is a chow hound. Kenzo (the female radix) has gotten to be about the size of Maria now too. They seem to be happy and thriving with us.

Good looking snake. As he's named after a scouser and approaching sub-adult age you need to watch out for him stealing your alloy wheels and hot wiring the neighbours' car. :)

I'm excited to be getting a red and an axanthic this summer. :) Hopefully they will do as well as these guys. Do you have spring break this week too? This sun is making me wanna go looking around again... You wanna come? :D

Thought it time for an update. He is growing and coloring up nice. A little skittish, but he's a boy radix. :)

It helps if the light is somewhat low and the exposure long. However, this requires that the subject and camera remain absolutely still during the exposure, and we all know how that goes.
