Hiya! I was just wondering if any of you have snakes that go in reverse almost as often and fast as forward... Turq is so funny, when we pick him up to hold him then he will start slithering backwards like we recorded him and rewound it. We laugh so hard, wow. I really like this guy. :D

Oh, yes. My female wandering garters are experts at it.

Yup most of mine are good at escaping backwards through my fingers :)

My male Cuitzeo is pretty good at reversing when he's spooked. He's also pretty good at jumping out of the shrubbery and heading to one of his hides if he happens to be off the ground when he startles.

I've never seen reversing but when spooked my marcianus will flick her whole body away and flee quickly not caring if she smacks her head against the tanks contents in the process which is quite disconcerting.Does anyone have a video of this serpentine moon walk?

Only seen my checkered do it. He rears up, strikes at me, and then takes off backwards

It's funny hearing all of these stories! I've seen them do it before but it's funny to read the posts!:D

My noodles (ribbons) always seem to be able to fling themselves at the front opening of their enclosure no matter what. Silly serpents.
