Hey, i'm Isaac. My brother, jon7, keeps garters and ball pythons and hes trying to get me into the snake trade. I am completely inexperienced when it comes to garters. I have caught some wild ones a few days ago and i need to know about feeding, housing (tub and rack or tank system), how to tell apart a breed and sex. Thanks for all your help. Welcome to the forum family! I am also in Washington. Garters are the most amazing snakes there are. Check out the care sheet is has a lot of must know info. You can post pics of the snakes you have found and we can help you ID them. Get a pic of the underside of the tail where the vent is and a side shot of the same area and we can help tell you if you have a boy or gir.
