Alright so I am going to skip all the talking but here is my current collection. Most of the Checkered Garters are HET Albino Granite so in the next two years I should have quite a variety. I am hoping to breed the super pastel into the granite gene as well. Let me know what you think!!!

This is the current setup since I am full time engineering student and this was my best idea for a setup in the apt. Works well and holds heat. Cheaper than a regular rack and breaks down easy for transportation. Now on to the snakes....

6649 ----> Eastern Blackneck Female.... Just finished herself a few guppies
I will have more pictures up in the near future of the other albinos and normals that I have but for now I think this is going to have to suffice. lol

It is sold as lizard litter from petsmart but it is nothing more than aspen chips. I like it a lot just have to make sure and feed them in a separate container.

I'm gonna be honest and tell you that I typically hate the use of tubs for Thamnophis. Unlike some other setups, you have used the tubs in a way that provides the snakes with plenty of elbow room as well as allowing high visibility. I'm quite fond of your setup! :)
The snakes look pretty good to!

I as well would prefer to have custom melamine cages for all my snakes but with my apartment at school that just isn't an option. I spent a while thinking up the best possible solution and along with allowing plenty of time out of their tubs I feel that the snakes have plenty of room and are just as happy as if they were in the cages. Plus the tubs I have set up allow they to climb on cork bark as well as allowing me to see them at all times.

Do you house your snakes individually or in groups?

Currently everyone is housed seperately so I can monitor feeding. I plan on housing adult females in pairs depending on breeding plans.

I wonder if you're ending up with any from my old collection. Jason ended up with quite a few of them.

Substrate looks like sani-chips. I love this stuff. It clumps like cat liter, very low to no dust, easy for snakes to burrow in, just an all around great product.
