While checking the morphs section of the Serpwidgets Morph Library (http://serpwidgets.com/main/morphs) site I found an amazing description of the genetic possibilities for corn snakes. We have an amazing group of breeders on this forum. Has anyone posted a similar description for garter snakes? Garters also demonstrate blues and greens so I know they must have an even greater diversity of morphisms than corn snakes. If it is already detailed in a book please let me know. I would love to get my arms around all of it. Below is part of the description they offer. I would like to see a sticky thread that would have similar information for Garter snakes here or somewhere. Thanks.

I too would also be very interested in a book or website discussing garter snake genetics.

Some of the breeders on this forum have genetic information on there websites. I'll link a couple.

I looked at those two links. They have some information on basic genetics principles. But they lack a list of garter snake species with their mutant genes, which is what I would like. :(

Not sure if this helps since it is specific to T.radix.

Thanks Steve. I think I would like to compile the data for Garter Morphs that exists for the Corn Snakes. Even in the Morph Timeline thread they ask the question of what defines the Aztec pattern. I would like to have a resource for the Garter community which clearly lays out what defines the different morphisms. I do understand that some of the pattern terms are things the breeders just came up with. I am fine with that as long as we as a community agree. If those details aren't well laid out yet, I will gladly work with breeders and others on putting something together for community consideration.
