She is about 10 inches long and has been letting me handle her with only a little bit of attitude. She was fed three days ago and wont take any food, is this normal? How often do you think she needs to be fed?

How often do you think she needs to be fed?Three days is nothing to worry about she's just adjusting to the new environment. As for feeding I found that every 2 days on bits of food about half the size of the head until you see a small lump in their bellies works well. When she starts to gain some size drop feeding down to every 3-4 days.also it's important to note with babies that you should worry about over feeding more than underfeeding them as it can kill.

I have been taking her out of her original tank and feeding her in a smaller one because i read somewhere to do that. Is that what you do?

She decided she was hungry the other day and will eat when ever I offer food now. Does she look plump enough? Here are some pictures.

You might want to be a little cautious about this. I don't remember where I heard or read it, but I think that feeding saltwater fish to your snakes can be detrimental to their health.

Here's a link to a thread where someone is using some type of reptile hammock for their snake. If yours breaks again, maybe something you might want to look into. I know I'm interested!:D

Do you know how old she is? I'm guessing at 10 inches she is at least 4 mos old? When I got Hermes, he was 4 mos old and the breeder was feeding him half a pinky every 4 days. I increased the feeding interval to every 3 days until he was about a foot long...then I went to every 4-5 days. Now that he is a year old...I feed him about every 5-7 days...on the same schedule as my other adults...and he has been eating one pinks worth of food since he was about 7 or 8 mos old.

They sure do she doesn't come down unless she needs water. Whenever I go to put her back into her tank I start to go to the actual floor and she goes crazy until I drop her off on her vine.

Its been a while so heres an update and pictures(of course). So I moved Lucy into a critter catcher to travel and she looked like she was missing something, I put a small little vine in there and guess what I found 10 minutes later.....
