She was wild indeed. And you're absolutely correct... some of them have some distinctive orange in them... two in particular.

No it had to be the one in the middle, backed up by his posse. I would of been tempted to put a little French mustache on him though.

Those babies need a short hide. Something to get under. The bridge is great but not functional.
Being under a short to almost flat hide will reduce their stress making them feel more secure.

Yea... this whole enclosure is very temporary. You did remind me that I was going to ask the group at what point do I want to move them into a tank with all the "regular" stuff... Carefresh, hiding places etc.

The new tank is a 20 gal turtle tank which means we need to cover the hole in the side of the tank... we're working on that today in addition to a custom top.
