I'm a bit behind! Lost time to keep up due to a busy work schedule.
I'm happy to report that no mites of any size have been seen sneaking around any of the snake tanks. I'm still keeping them with the paper towel bottom. Everyone is happy and still active. Only the viper boa is pouty. I'm so glad that none of my ribbons or the viper have any sign of mites! That was so scary.
I'm close to closing a deal concerning the viper boa and if all goes well I shall be receiving three new ribbon snakes! As a precaution, I want no chance of a reinfestation, I plan on keeping the new ones seprate from my own and see if there are any mites or questionable critters or whatnot before any introduction to my little ones. I really hope I get some new ribbon snakes! I also plan on ordering a Pennisula and a Gulf Coast once things both reptilian and workwise settle down. I've always wanted those two kinds of ribbons and the blue striped.
