I wanted to throw out this thought about post delivery eating.
I think it is very important for these females to be aloud to feed more then the other snakes in a collection. Not to a point of stuffing themselves but definitely allow them to eat more then a regular food amount. Allowing them to gain weight back and muscle mass is important especially for the next breeding season. For my females I would say it takes 3-6 months for them to get their normal body weight and girth back. I pay very close attention to my post delivery snakes and this issue. Even if I don't plan on breeding the next season I think it is good to get these snakes back to normal as soon as possible.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

That's a good observation. Valid point to bring up.

I also think that a reptile vitamin with calcium would be beneficial to the recuperation.

I feel a bad about mentioning the hard work some of the males put in. They too need some extra food.:D
