So I cut up a nightcrawler last night for the 3 baby wanderings and it looks like it went untouched. How long should I leave cut up worms or cut up fish for them?

I have reason to believe someone ate though, they had 5 feeder guppies in a dish and 3 of them are now missing. (excited squeal!)

I sometimes use a spray bottle of water to wet the mixture down so it can stay i another 24 hours.
Never had any last longer then that. I mean it gets eaten.

Until they eat it! But in all seriousness, as long as the food is still edible, I dont think you should have a problem leaving it in there. The only thing I would worry about is food fights. I have heard that wandering garters have a tendency towards cannibalism and would think that this could take food fights to a new level. Not sure if it would be a problem, just something to keep in mind.

You also need to put some more pictures up. In case you didnt get that, that is non-optional. I am in love with your snakelings :)

Yeah...I always watch my babies closely when they eat because of food fights and dragging food off into substrate and things like that. You may want to just take it away and try again the next day when you can supervise.

I usually use a 15-30 minute rule for all reptiles, mostly just out of habit really. What doesn't get eaten either goes back or thrown out.
