Dang Moody Female radix

My relationship with "Enforcer" (female T.radix) has always been a rocky one. She's an intimidating snake and has always marched to her own music.
I simply take what she gives and count myself lucky. I think she trusts me but still keeps me grounded in the fact she's in charge.
She comes out to me when I open the enclosure and usually gives me a false strike before I touch her. After that she's good-to-go.
The other morning I opened the enclosure and she shot out of the warm hide with an upset look. I reached for her and got my usual false strike.
As I picked her up she lunged at my face. I started laughing at her so she lunged again biting me on my ear.
After that she was fine and our time was nice. I really love this snake as I can remember her as a baby.
She's always been a very confident snake.
She passed jellies this year but next year I will be pairing her up with a nice male. I feel sorry for that guy.:D

Did her momma have any attitude issue out of curiosity. Can't call her a hot female (hatched at a high temp, usually can't reproduce) since she wasn't an egg, hot females often times act the same way as your Enforcer.

Her mom was a wonderful calm girl. Her father(Scar R.I.P) was a pistol at first then calmed to a good old boy.

Some of them are just insane! It amazes me how crazy a captive bred snake can really be. Ive got a baby checkered who will bite me through the glass of his enclosure. I cannot touch him without the fear of being attacked. Thank god they are so cute though otherwise he would be out! Just kidding of course...

She really is a big girl! I can't wait till I can get a female. I love my boy, but he's so little and wimpy...He literally is like holding a little ribbon:p

She's a full figured girl. She's the most muscular snake I have. Holding her you can feel her strength. These are all qualities I hope she passes on to her scrubs next year.

hahaha hilarious I have a snake that hates me also. It's also a non-feeder which doesn't help as it means I have to deal with it more, poor thing. All my other animals love me though :)

I think Enforcer likes me but wants to flex her muscle and keep me in line.
I don't mind at all. She's a great radix.
