Has anyone wired their garter lighting to be turned on and off by an outdoor light sensor?
For my local snakes it would be very convenient to let the viv lights come on when the yard light turns off.
I guess im just testy after juggling and resetting 5 individual timers.

I am the keeper of the light for my snakes.
They have to put up with some of my late nights and once in awhile my late mornings.

No I've not. But it sounds like a very good idea as a means to make seasonal adjustments to the time their lights are on. It would also give some random variation - i.e. if it's a dark, cloudy day the lights would go off earlier in the evening.
If you're using the right sort of lights you could even use a light sensor to dim the lights rather than a simple on off, although I may be getting ahead of myself with that.
