Nice pic......were they all under the same hide? Seem to find garters in groups like that a lot.

They were found exactly as you see them in the picture, There are many snakes in this area and sharing hides is probably unavoidable, Our group once found over 50 snakes under one pc of roof tin. They were a mix of garters, browns and fox snake (mostly brown snakes though)

That is a picture I with i took!! LOL The problem was we were in the middle of doing population research so our first few seconds was trying to count as many as we could before the all scattered.

I am kind of surprised there is not a forum dedicated to just field herping in here.

That's where feeding discussions usually end up, yes.
