This large female was brought to me yesterday.... had a nice meal of field mouse also. She will be dewormed and kept for a breeder...I love her pattern. She is a little over 2 feet long.

Love the pattern. Do they coil up like that when scared?

not all curl up like that...she was scared. she could be gravid, probably is...but no signs yet. cold spring made them breed late. she has also eaten a field mouse... making her look a ilttle big. hopefully she is :D

Curling up like that is a defensive posture. The one I caught last week has been doing that to varying degrees.
