What does radix mean?

It means "root" or "base". It seems to originate from a Greek term that means "root" or "branch".

I always felt it meant that radixes are the root of all garter snake goodness in the galaxy. :D

Are we sure that this member isn't just asking what a radix is? Just in case...a radix is a Plains Garter Snake. Thamnophis radix.

All this time I was taking "concinnus" (red spotted garter subspecies name) to mean: greek: "stylistically congruous, pretty/pleasing". Well, today I found another definition: English: " 'in the red' ,'red.','Redding','redly'.
That must be the right one.
