I'll give Wayne a call and see if he'll chime in on this.

I am thinking that the brown snakes (Dekayi) prefer cooler temps.

I don't ususally use a heat lamp. Room temp. My Dekayi almost never comes out when the lamp is on but she is out early morning and late evenings.

Good thing I didn't buy one of them yet. I just use a 15 watt for light

Also what about the lenght of day/ night should it stay the same?

I would make it match up with the local (where it was found) day length. Summer solstice is fast approaching (June 20-21st) so day gets longer each day until then.

I have never used heat with Dekayi snakes. They prefer cool temps.

If she is gravid, I do sincerely hope you are ready for a litter of micro snakes.

I'm ready! I was thinking about releasing most and keeping about 4

If these will be your first babies I don't recommend S.dekayi. They are difficult at best.;)

Do you guys want any of them. Would they survive being shipped?

I would rather see them released. Just my opinion and no offense meant.

Ok. Then that is what will happen.
