l found these pictures the other day so l though l'd put them on the forums, about 20 years ago l imported some adult Florida Blue Garters, one of the female's was gravid and give birth to 18 (normal)looking Albino babys,l kept all the baby's back to grow on and keep.As they grew they all started to show these strange marks over their backs, some where just speckles others became quite dark,The adult female showed no signs of this and looked like a normal Albino.l kept all the offspring back and l got to bred them to the third generation, all the babys produced show these signs.
The way the morphs have develept and see these photos again l wondered if anyone had any ideas
Steven

Neat looking snakes. It is really hard to see from the photos but I almost think its like a 'piebald' trait you've got there... I could be completely wrong though. I bet Scott Felzer would be really interested in those... SF Garter (http://www.albinogartersnake.com/) send him some pictures as well, see what he says.

Edit; Was just looking at Scotts page and he has a snake with this trait, he calls it the Paradox trait... Scott Felzer's Garter Snakes, specializing in aberrant garters (http://www.albinogartersnake.com/price_LEUCISTIC.html)

Afew of my albino Marcianus were born with a few black spotting, when at first i thought it was poo. It soon became apparent it was a paradox trait.
