Not eating

Hi all. I'm getting concerned. Our Pugets have not eaten now for over a month and over 6 weeks. Now our NWs are not eating. We have tried all foods we can think of. We tried giving the Pugets a cold snap. I am at a loss here. Could this be due to the season and them wanting to breed? If so I'm in desperate need of a loaner male Puget as they aren't out yet here. Please help.

This almost sounds like some kind of craigslist ad, almost.:D

Crazy weather and breeding season is probably causing most of what you see.
Just my opinion.

We are cool/cold again in Iowa. Possible freeze next Tuesday.

We are having crazy weather here. Cold one day, sunny the next, then raining the next. I would love to breed the pugets, but I wanted to find one from their area with no lateral stripes. If I have to breed them to get them to eat I'll take what I can get though.

Kat...are the pugets in with the NW's?...it sounds like they are taking cues from one another. Perhaps it is a weather thing combined with copycat behavior? Just a thought...

They are, but the NW were eating up until last week. I think everyone is just getting.... ready. ;) We need to get a couple boys in the mix here.

Ok. All the NW except Fish Bait had worms today. Still no signs of interest in food from the Pugets though. I noticed this morning Blade is looking plumpy in the right areas. Not sure yet, but before just now she hadn't eaten in 2 weeks. Will keep an eye on her and see if there is any scale spread.

It's been a while, but Toothless finally took a worm!! We dusted the end with vitamin powder after she started eating. Now we just need Cotton to eat.

Breathing a sigh of relief today. Cotton and Toothless both ate today. I'm very happy!
