Hi all.
I'm Rachel, garter wise I only have one at the moment, a beautiful albino checkered baby that was a birthday pressie from my fiance, but I do have a couple of other reptiles and far too many bugs lol. Arjuna does seem to be thriving, growing well and pretty content, but I want to ensure that s/he continues to do so and to try and further improve things for her as often as I can.
I have already had a nosey around a little and can't wait to properly sink my teeth into all the new information and pictures. It's been great looking at all the beautiful snakes. :D

Welcome aboard Rachel.
It is always good to see someone else on our sunny (it is in Coventry today at least, not sure about Kent) shores keeping garters.
We have an albino T. marcianus too, she was our first garter back in September, the current garter count is 8... but it can't climb by many more this year.
Let us know if you have any questions that you haven't found answered in all the threads you've been reading.

Actually I think you will know what I am on about when I say I found this forum because of researching some stuff said about garter diets on RFUK?

Hi Rachel...Welcome to the forum! I also have an albino checkered, named Hermes, who is almost 9 months old, as well as another albino, an Iowa Snow Plains, named Possum, and two eastern garters, Cee Cee and Seeley. We would love to see pictures of your garter. You can also post pics of your other pets on our Other Pets thread. We are glad to have you on the forum.

Thank you all for the welcomes, I shall dig out some pictures of Arjuna and get them posted soon. :D

Reptile wise I just have Arjuna, my royal Squishy, and two beardies Sunny and Freya now, I unfortunately lost my tortoise Quartz due to ill health (very bad care before I got her) and my baby butter corn Lucentio at Christmas. I do also have a brooks king snake waiting with a friend that will be arriving mid April.
Bugs, I currently have three scorpions, two tarantulas, two species of snails (three of each), three stick insect species, horsehead grasshoppers, assassin bugs, some domino beetles, a Hercules beetle larvae and some sun beetle larvae. I used to have waaaaaaay more, mostly snails, but I cut back a bit to make room for the reptiles. I'm moving more into wanting reptiles at the moment, but bugs still are my first love pet wise and will always feature heavily. I have been lucky in that my dad keeps loads of tarantulas and both parents are fine with snakes etc, and my fiance is just as bad as me, if not worse!
ETA: I am uploading some pictures to the album thingy, hope I have got it all right.

Bug buddy sounds awesome lol. I suggest a scorpion or a domino beetle since you seem to like the not so friendly bugs. :P
