I woke up to a shed albino female Red Sided (T.s.parietalis)(not in my bed:D).
She also delivered 12 beautiful bouncing baby scrubs.
Mom's doing great and the babies are in the shed box.
Photo to follow after work this afternoon.

Wow...it certainly is baby time at the ranch. Glad you aren't sleeping with snakes in your bed, yet anyway...ha ha. We need to talk soon about Marnie getting some snakities! I'll call you...

24 hours ago I place a small dish of food(cut up night crawler) in for these little scrubs. At lights on this morning I found the dish empty.
This time I put a little more food in there.
It's a good feeling to know at least some have started eating.

I think you're confused Marnie. These aren't plains. Steve meant that the sire was an albino red sided from Iowa. The dam was an albino red sided from Kansas.
On a side note, these days, "Iowa" plains just means they're T negative. It doesn't necessarily mean they're from Iowa. Also "nebraska" plains just means they're T positive. Both types have been found in so many states since the originals, most people can't say for certain if their T- or T+ snakes really are the iowa or nebraska strain.

Oooh lucky! Steve has some very beautiful snakes. What kinds are you getting?
katach
06-08-2012, 10:11 PM
Albino red sided, an unrelated female normal red sided, and unrelated male and female radix. You have met Gavan, his mate will be Juniper. The radix will be John and Pin.

Not sure about the radix, but the red sided male is a baby and the female I think is a little older.
