Here is Possum's video debut...please excuse the glare, as I was shooting the video through the glass of the tank. I have never uploaded a video from youtube before...so, I hope this works.

I'm clueless as well Steve. I have no idea what the post contributed to the discussion.

Marnie - looks like a normal snake in that video, unless I missed the bit Possum behaves like a possum?

He has been behaving quite normally for the most part. I mean, if you are talking about the upside down stuff. I don't think normal is the right word...lol. I think it's one of those things where you just have to experience him...he is quite unique...His movements are very uncoordinated and he slithers sideways a lot. He also turns upside down a lot, and does looped di loop things, flipping himself upside down and around in knots. When you hold him, he turns himself upside down and ties himself in knots. He also jumps straight up in the air a lot...and then flips over and lands half way across the tank. He literally jumped straight up and out of the tank once. He is unbelievably entertaining to watch...my mother spends a lot of time watching him. He can scale the walls of the tank without being wet. I am starting to think that he does not have a neuro disorder...but instead is some sort of amped up super snake....I could probably put him in the circus. I will try to get some more videos of him doing some of his funny stunts.

Sorry, but am I being thick here. Even knowing what the text talk means, I still don't understand it's relevance to the thread. Maybe I'm not as down with the kiddies as Kat, I may just be too old to get the meaning of the post.

Chris...it may be an American slang thing. Sometimes when someone says something and you agree with it...a person will say..."Right?" or " Yeah, right?"...as if to say..." I agree". So, Kat said that Possum looked like a little pink worm...and Jesse said, "I know, right?"...meaning...he agreed.

It was my way of demonstrating mildly entusiastic agreement to Chantel's post.

Ah, right. (meaning "OK, I understand what you're saying now")

I'll put it down to American slang then. Maybe it works better in conversation where you have different inflections to alter the meaning, written it is just contextless. I think over here the kids would use "init?" in a similar way where it has a dozen different meanings depending on when and how it is said. Damn annoying and a complete bastardisation of English, but what can you do?

great video marnie! he seems to be very active and curious. like chris said, from that video, he looks pretty normal. glad to see he's doing well for you! awesome possum

Oh was it Chantel that said that...sorry...I said Kat...anyway, yes...it is hard when you can't hear the inflection. And then add to it the slang meaning factor and it's all confusing. You should have seen me when I first moved to the UK and every time someone would walk into a room they would say "Alright?"...which I learned was your version of "How's it going?"...but I just kept saying, "Yes, I'm fine...why does everyone keep asking me if I'm alright?". :D

Yes, well...if you guys could see Possum in action...like I said, normal wouldn't be the word. Every time I walk in the room, he springs straight up in the air and does a back flip across the tank...lol. He reminds me of those can of worm things that you play a prank on someone with...when you open them the worms spring out and fly all over the place...ha ha....But he is definitely active...in fact, active is an understatement. He is constantly active...all day and all night. And he never hides. I think when I am not looking, he goes behind his bush and smokes snake crack. :D

Well...I think all I have to do is turn on the camera and walk quickly up to the tank...lol. I'll try it later.

Thanks...I think I fed him a little too much fish the other night...he hasn't been quite so active the last couple of days...just fat and lazy and hanging out in his plant...lol.
