Well my mystery gender snake is definitely a boy, the lump bellow his vent are his hemipenes but they are most likely completely useless, tho it makes me feel better that they are not effecting him and it probably happened long before i got him. Well when I first got him I didn't originally intend to breed him so no loss really.

Must really get some new pictures lol

What makes you think he's infertile.

Good question.

Any chance of getting a more focused photo of the tail, please.

I pulled this from one of your other posts. I stand by what I said before and think you have an infected tail on that snake.
I am fighting the same situation with one of my female radixes at this time. I will post a photo for comparison soon.
I'm not trying to tell you what to do. I just want to make sure you are aware there may be a problem.;)

here some pics of stigs tail

I've see that kind of tail on a few of my female radixes. The area South of the tail looks swollen. Look at the way the scales are pushed out.
Possible infection, in my opinion.
Look at the way it just suddenly tappers. Most male tails don't do that.
I'm going with my first impression and say female.
I would suggest a Vet. visit to confirm the infection and treatment.

I of course am only giving my opinion in this situation and don't know these observations to be fact.
I do believe it's something to be checked into.

The vet said that its definitely the hemipenes and there is no infection. As to the infertility the vet believes it could have been blocked hemipenes in the past that wasn't treated and now they are unlikely to be any good or he was just born deformed. As i got him fully grown and at least 3 or 4 years old it could be either.
