At like 5:00pm my mom found my first snake I caught dead with it's mouth wide open. She might of died from old but she could of died from sickness too. We had her for about 3 years old but she didn't bite that much as she used to. My other snake charlott is dying slowly I don't know why but we covered her with a wash cloth for now. I don't think she will be with us anymore tomorrow. This is sad because Midnight was the first snake I ever had and charlott was the only girl snake we had for the family. I'm still sad. When my mom siad that Midnight was dead I was sobbing. When she siad that something was wrong with charlott I cried even more. Hope me luck that Charlott will still be alive tomorrow.:(

Hang in there Erin.
It's always a sad time when we lose our snake buddies.

Sorry to hear this.

We're they both in the same tank? Reason I ask is that to loose one is bad enough, but the coincidence of 2 dying (assuming the second doesn't pull through) would have me asking questions about my setup and food. If they were wild caught you don't know how old they were so old age is an option, it just seems too much of a coincidence for both to deteriorate at the same time without some other factors.

Once again, sorry for your loss.

Yes, I agree with Chris...I would also be trying to determine what caused this. Something must have happened for both snakes to suddenly become ill. I'm of course not blaming you, Erin...things happen...it could have been a contagious illness like a respiratory infection, or a bad batch of food...there are so many factors. You may want to try to figure out what caused it so that you can prevent it from happening with other snakes in the future. And again, I am very sorry for your loss. If you want help trying to figure out what may have happened, we could certainly help you with that.
